The above seasonal conditions will continue across western Canada thanks to a dominant ridge of high pressure. Warmer air from the Pacific basin is flowing west to east over the prairies and driving temperatures up. In Calgary, daytime highs will range from 9 C to 13 C until at least the end of next week, with overnight lows between -1 C to 4 C. The average high in Calgary this time of year is 6 C with a low of -6 C. Conditions will remain mostly mild in southern Alberta, with light wind and a mix of sun and cloud. There will be some moisture embedded into this upper pattern over the next couple of days, but the bulk of that should fall on the B.C. side of the Rockies. Mixed precipitation including freezing rain is possible in northern Alberta on Tuesday. Early morning fog is likely in portions of northern and north-central Alberta Wednesday, but Calgary should be too far south to be impacted.
