Tuesday was quite an active weather day in southern Alberta. There were lots of thunderstorms to kick off this huge change in our weather pattern. Wednesday in Calgary will be a gloomy, rainy one. Expect on-and-off rain — about 10 to 15 millimetres — during the day, with a risk of thunderstorms later on. Be sure to break out a decent coat, as it will be quite a cool day. It will be even cooler and rainier on Thursday, with between 20 and 30 millimetres of rain possible. We will start to dry out and slowly warm up on Friday. Poor cow! Here is a photo from Matt Melnyk taken Sunday, near Sundre.
