Banff cabin named one of the top Vrbo vacation rentals for 2026

A rustic cabin in the heart of Banff is one of eight spots featured on Vrbo’s 2026 list of the top vacation rentals in Canada.

The three-bedroom riverfront home sits on Squirrel Street, just two blocks from Banff Avenue.

Vrbo says the rental blends rustic charm with modern comfort.

“Families and friends can unwind on the spacious deck with stunning Mount Rundle views, enjoying morning coffee or sunset barbeques,” Vrbo says. “Or relax in the peaceful backyard after a day of adventure.”

As of Tuesday, the cabin was listed for an average of $1,524 per night to rent.

This year marks the fifth for Vrbo’s Vacation Rentals of the Year list, which includes spots that have achieved high ratings and reviews and have reliable hosts – many of whom have been classified as Premier Hosts.

Every home on the list has earned the Loved by Guests badge - placing it among the top 10 per cent of homes based on verified reviews.

The 2026 list features a variety of accommodations including a house in Fernie, B.C., a cabin in Invermere, B.C., a chalet in Quebec and a beach house in Price Edward Island, among others.
