Two N.B. men face charges after N.S. police seize handgun, outlaw motorcycle gang vests

The RCMP has arrested two men from New Brunswick after a traffic stop in Fall River, N.S.

On Friday at around 6:30 p.m., an officer conducted a traffic stop on an Audi A4 for having tinted front windows, according to a news release.

At the vehicle, the officer allegedly noticed the passenger had a cannabis vape that was being illegally transported.

The officer then searched the vehicle and reportedly found a loaded handgun, outlaw motorcycle gang vests, and unstamped tobacco.

Police seized the vehicle, firearm, vests, tobacco, cellphones and a quantity of cash.

The driver, a 36-year-old man, and the passenger, a 32-year-old man, were arrested and have since been released.

They’re set to appear in Dartmouth provincial court on June 23.
