Ghostbusters came to Calgary Thursday to protect the city from spectral threats -- and to make a special wish come true. Make-a-Wish granted seven-year-old Brent’s wish for a Ghostbuster adventure at the Calgary Stampede grandstand on Thursday. He joined forces with the mayor, police officers, EMS and the Alberta Ghostbusters fan group for the day. Naturally the Stay Puff Marshmallow Man made an appearance, but they handled it like real pros. The adventure was filmed in order to make a little movie for Brent. The organizations says wishes like these are worth all the effort. The magic for the day was helped along by digital media integrations. Make-A-Wish provides wishes for children diagnosed with critical illnesses, to help give them and their families hope and resiliency.
