Ten University of Lethbridge researchers representing five faculties and one school are receiving more than $1 million in funding from the federal government. Nearly $1.2 million has been allocated to the U of L for research in the social sciences and humanities areas. The funding is part of a wider $289 million being distributed to support research projects and partnerships across Canada. The university’s faculty of fine arts, faculty of education, Dhillon School of Business and faculty of arts and science along with the school of liberal education are among the recipients. The funded projects span a diverse range of topics including climate change adaptation, economic recovery and social justice.
