The story of a stolen vehicle in Barrie has taken another turn. On Thursday, Barrie Police say a white 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander was stolen from a driveway on Quinlan Road. According to police, it happened around 4:25 a.m. Police say two suspects are believed to be involved in the theft. RELATED: 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander stolen from Quinlan Road Driveway On Saturday, police conducted a traffic stop in the area of Bradford Street and Tiffin Street when an officer recognized the driver of the vehicle as someone who was prohibited from driving. As a result of the traffic stop, two men, who were reportedly in a stolen car, were arrested and now face a number of charges. RELATED: Two Barrie men busted on two separate vehicle theft charges A 42-year-old man who faces possession charges in relation to the traffic stop on Saturday was also connected to the Quinlan Road vehicle theft, police say. He was charged with theft of a motor vehicle for the incident. On Tuesday, Barrie Police confirmed the white Mitsubishi Outlander stolen from Quinlan Road was found in a parking lot on Mulcaster Street. However, the second suspect in the Thursday morning theft is still at large, police say. Police describe him as wearing a white sweater/jacket, beige/brown pants, a hat and white Nike shoes at the time of the incident. The man is also described as having long blonde/light brown hair tied in a ponytail and carried a backpack with a patterned side bag.
