Man sent to hospital after alleged assault in Barrie

Barrie police say a man in his early 60s has been sent to hospital Tuesday morning following an alleged assault.

They say it happened on Bayfield Street near Heather Street at around 9:15 a.m.

The suspect is believed to be a man in his early 30s, according to police.

Officers are asking anyone with information or dash cam footage to contact the lead investigator in the case, PC Thorne, at [e-mail].
