Here is what's happening in Barrie on Family Day

The City of Barrie will be holding celebration festivities downtown to celebrate family day.

Indoor and outdoor activities will be featured at city hall, and the activities will be free from 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.

Activities include:

• DJ-hosted party skate
• Family oriented games and activities
• Crafts
• Inflatables
• Face painting
• Free hot chocolate
• Bonfire

The city hall parking lot located on Worsley Street will be closed for the event.

Affected Services

City hall will be closed for business on Family Day but the rotunda will remain open for the Family Day activities.

Barrie Transit will operate on a Sunday schedule.

Service Reminders

There will be no change to curbside collection schedule for Family Day.

Downtown parling (on-street and lots) is free on holidays. Waterfront parking will be enforced.
