Fire investigation underway in Innisfil

A “well involved” structure fire in Innisfil is now under investigation, South Simcoe Police say.

Police responded to a call for a fire around 12:40 p.m. on Wednesday in the area of Ireton Road, between Glen Cedar Crescent and 10th Line.

Police say residents can expect a heavy presence of emergency crews in the area as they investigate what caused the fire.

No injures have been reported.

Residents are being asked to avoid the area while the investigation continues.
