Crash shuts down stretch of Hwy 10 in Caledon

A stretch of Highway 10 in Caledon is closed in both directions following a collision Friday afternoon.

OPP has shut down the road between Charleston Sideroad and Olde Baseline Road, with no timeline for when the roadway will reopen.

At the time very few details have been released, with police saying the extent of the injuries is still unknown.

Motorists are being told to avoid the area, expect heavy traffic delays, and use alternate routes where possible.
