Price of gas, diesel to be adjusted overnight on P.E.I.

The price of gas will change overnight on Prince Edward Island in an unscheduled adjustment.

The Prince Edward Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission says the change will be effective at 12:01 a.m. Wednesday because “global events have resulted in market volatility, which sometimes requires unscheduled pricing adjustments (interruptions).”

The following petroleum products will be affected by the price interruption:

• regular gasoline
• premium gasoline
• furnace oil
• diesel

The Prince Edward Island Regulatory and Appeals Commission’s next scheduled pricing adjustment is Friday.
