Man dead after snowmobile crash on trail in Brackley, P.E.I.

A man has died following a snowmobile crash on the Confederation Trail in Brackley, P.E.I.

Officers responded to the single-vehicle collision just after 1 a.m. Saturday near Route 15. According to police, the snowmobile left the trail and struck a tree.

RCMP said a 53-year-old Charlottetown man died at the scene as a result of his injuries.

Police said the investigation is ongoing.
