N.S. RCMP conducting search in Bayers Lake in connection with 2025 homicide

The RCMP is conducting a search in the Bayers Lake Business Park in Halifax in connection with a homicide last year.

Investigators are in the 0-100 block of Horseshoe Lake Drive Tuesday.

“Please avoid the area, if possible, to allow officers to do their work,” said the RCMP in a Facebook post.

A photo from the scene shows yellow police tape blocking a paved trail in the area.

Police won’t say what homicide the search is connected to, except that it happened in North Preston in 2025.
