Missing vulnerable man now believed to have been last seen in Lower Harmony: N.S. RCMP

Nova Scotia RCMP now says a missing vulnerable man is believed to have last been seen in Lower Harmony.

Jason Lorette was reported missing on Friday and was initially believed to have last been seen in Salmon River on March 19, but police now say they have since obtained video footage which confirms he travelled to Lower Harmony the same day.

Lorette is described by police as being five-foot-11 weighing around 140 pounds. He has brown eyes, brown hair and a white goatee.

An emergency alert was issued in parts of northern Nova Scotia on Wednesday letting people know of a search for the missing man.

Police are asking residents in the communities of Harmony, Greenfield, Camden, Lilyvale Road, Murray Siding and the surrounding areas to check their cameras, camps and outbuildings for any signs of Lorette.
