Man wanted on provincewide warrant for assault, harassment charges: N.S. RCMP

Lunenburg District RCMP is seeking help from the public in finding a 50-year-old man wanted on a provincewide arrest warrant.

RCMP says Andrew John Mooney is facing 10 charges, including:

• three counts of assault
• assault causing bodily harm
• criminal harassment
• possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose
• several firearm offences.

Officers have tried to locate Mooney and are now appealing to the public. Police describe him as having brown hair and a full beard.

The force is asking anyone with information on Mooney’s whereabouts to call Lunenburg District RCMP at 902-634-8674 or local police.
