N.B. RCMP finds vehicle connected to Waasis man reported missing a year ago

The Oromocto RCMP says it has found a vehicle believed to be connected to a man reported missing from Waasis, N.B., a little over a year ago.

Police are still trying to find 48-year-old Michael Keetch, who was last seen on Nevers Road on April 12, 2025. Keetch was reported missing to police on April 30, 2025.

The RCMP said on Tuesday it has now located a Hyundai Elantra in connection with Keetch’s disappearance. Police did not release any other details about the discovery.

Keetch is described as roughly six-foot-two and 253 pounds. He has green eyes and brown hair.

Police are asking anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300.
