N.B. RCMP continue to investigate disappearance of man missing for more than a year

Police in New Brunswick are continuing to investigate the disappearance of a 30-year-old man from Gagetown who went missing last year.

Brent Dawson was last seen around 4:15 a.m. on Jan. 16, 2025, walking on Highway 102, near exit 330 of Highway 2, in Upper Gagetown. Police believe he may have walked onto Highway 2. He was reported missing to police the same day.

He is described as six-foot-one and around 220 pounds. Police say he has blue eyes, brown hair and is unshaven, with tattoos on his left bicep. He was last seen wearing sweatpants and a light-coloured sweater.

Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have information about Dawson’s disappearance.

“Any detail, even something that may seem minor or insignificant, could be the key to bringing Brent Dawson home,” reads a news release from New Brunswick RCMP.

Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Oromocto RCMP at 506-357-4300 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
