AFP National Philanthropy Day | CTV Vancouver Island

National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside on the fifteenth of November. The purpose of this day is to recognize the great contributions of philanthropy—and those people active in the philanthropic community—to the enrichment of our world. NPD provides an opportunity to reflect on the meaning of giving and all that it has made possible.

The Association of Fundraising Professionals

For over 50 years, the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) has been the standard-bearer for professionalism in fundraising. AFP empowers individuals and organizations to practice ethical fundraising through professional education, networking, research and advocacy. There are over 240 AFP chapters around the world!

AFP Vancouver Island's purpose is to foster a culture of philanthropy across Vancouver Island through professional development, networking, community events, advocacy and National Philanthropy Day.
