Students injured when bus veered off the road: Manitoba RCMP

Two students were injured after a school bus left the road Friday morning.

Manitoba RCMP said the incident took place between 7:20 a.m. and 8:20 a.m. on Dunning Road in the RM of St. Clements. Officers responded to the scene at 8:25 a.m.

RCMP said the bus had 19 students on board when it veered off the road. The driver was able to regain control of the bus and continue its route.

The students on the bus ranged in age from kindergarten to Grade 12.

Two students suffered minor injuries from the incident. RCMP said their age is not known.

RCMP continues to investigate but said alcohol is not a factor.
