Central Manitoba is expected to see some heavy snow Thursday as Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a snowfall warning for the area.
ECCC said a low pressure system from Alberta will be bringing around 10 to 15 centimetres starting Thursday morning.
“The heaviest axis of snowfall is expected from The Pas/Flin Flon, southeast through Grand Rapids and towards Berens River. Snowfall accumulations will range from 10-15 cm in total before the low exits into northwestern Ontario Friday morning,” ECCC said.
ECCC noted visibility and road conditions could change quickly throughout the day.
