Winter weather isn’t quite finished with Manitoba yet, as Central Manitoba is expected to receive significant snowfall starting Thursday.

Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) has issued a snowfall warning for multiple communities, including Dauphin, Roblin and Minnedosa on Wednesday as a low pressure system moves through Saskatchewan and into Manitoba.

ECCC is predicting 10-20 centimetres of snow, and travel is expected to be difficult.

“Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions,” the alert reads.

Other communities in central and southern Manitoba, including the City of Winnipeg, are currently under a special weather statement, and more snowfall warnings could be issued.
