Patient in unstable condition after Burrows-Keewatin house fire

One person is in hospital after a Wednesday morning house fire.

Winnipeg fire crews were called to the first block of Chudley Street at 10:44 a.m. following reports of a fire at a two-storey townhouse.

The city said people in the home evacuated before crews arrived, however, one person was taken to hospital in unstable condition.

There are no damage estimates available. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
