Have you seen these men? Police looking for suspects in armed robbery

The Winnipeg Police Service (WPS) is searching for a pair of suspects connected to the armed robbery of a Transcona store on Wednesday.

The investigation began around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday when police were called to a commercial robbery at a business in the 200 block of Regent Avenue West.

Officers went to the store and spoke with three victims who are employees of the business.

Police investigated and determined that two male suspects, who were both armed with handguns, went into the store and demanded money and property from the employees.

The WPS alleges the stolen items were put into reusable grocery bags, with the suspects leaving the scene before police arrived. The three victims were not physically injured.

Police have released images of the suspects who were both wearing black pants and hoodies. One of the suspect’s sweatshirt had yellow high-visibility tape on the shoulders, waist and arms.

Both men had their faces covered.

Police warm that the suspects are considered armed and dangerous. If you believe you know their identities or you see them, do not approach, but call 911 immediately.

The major crimes unit continues to investigate and is working to provide an updated description of the suspects. No arrests have been made.
