Property listings in January jumped compared to December 2024, but as is typical in Manitoba during the winter months, sales were down.

According to data from the Manitoba Real Estate Association, there were 1,367 new listings to start 2025, which was a 44.4 per cent increase from the previous month.

However, sales dipped 6.8 per cent from December with 748.

The average price for a home came in at $351,128, down slightly – 2.6 per cent – from December.
