The Windsor Symphony Orchestra (WSO) is conducting educational concerts in and around Windsor-Essex county this week.
“A lot of these folks are experiencing these instruments in person for the first time,” said Geoffrey Larson, resident conductor - Windsor Symphony Orchestra. “So, it’s really special to see them discovering all the different sounds and, just the incredible virtuosity of the instruments on stage. So, we really want to inspire them to be curious about music and be curious about playing music and incorporating that into their lives.
Music from Schubert, Brahms, Beethoven, Haydn, and Bartok, were performed at W.J. Langlois Catholic Elementary School, exposing students to classical music.
