Windsor family offering $1,000 reward for safe return of missing dog

A family in Windsor is offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of their missing dog, Gus.

Gus is a four-year-old Bull Mastiff that went missing from the family’s backyard on Nov. 25 in the 2500 block of Meldrum Road.

The dog is microchipped, and they just want him home safe.

“My sister (Holly Trembley) passed away from cancer at 47 three months ago and Gus was her baby,” Heidi Loffelmann wrote to CTV News.

“My 19-year-old nephew is now his primary caregiver and needs to have his dog back, as this is his bond to his mom.”

The back gate of the home opens to a field behind Central Stamping, and the gate was opened when it was discovered Gus was gone. Gus uses a dog door to get out when his owners are away.

The last sighting was on Nov. 25 in on the corner of Somme and Central Avenues around 11 a.m.

Any sightings can be called to 519-817-5806. A $1,000 reward will be given with his safe return, no questions asked.
