The University of Windsor men’s volleyball team is in Brandon, Manitoba looking for a little redemption.

The Lancers are at the U Sports National Championship.

The team has a renewed sense of energy after a letdown in the provincial final a couple of weeks ago.

Windsor lost to Queen’s at home after locking down the top seed in the league this season.

Head coach Greg Gravelle says his team is focused on the opener against the defending national champs from Alberta set to tip off Friday afternoon.

“There’s a great opportunity for redemption for our group, and it’s not lost on anybody within the room,” said “So we’re really looking forward to that. we make it a goal to qualify for this tournament and, to have reach that goal is, you know, something that we’re celebrating, and it’s an opportunity to make history.”
