A 55-year-old Chatham driver is facing charges after a two-vehicle collision in Lakeshore.
Members of the Essex County OPP were dispatched to County Road 22 for the report of a motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at 6:18 p.m. on Thursday.
There were no injuries reported.
As a result of the investigation, one involved driver was placed under arrest at scene.
The Chatham resident has been charged under the Criminal Code and Highway Traffic Act with:
- Failure or refusal to comply with demand
- Careless driving
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on April 2.
The Essex OPP wants to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact the Ontario Provincial Police or your nearest police authority immediately.
