Two-vehicle crash in Kingsville leads to impaired charge

A 55-year-old driver is facing an impaired charge after a two-vehicle collision.

Essex County OPP and EMS responded to the intersection of County Road 20 and Graham Side Road in Kingsville on April 10 at 5:06 p.m.

An involved driver was placed under arrest and transported to the Essex County OPP Detachment.

The driver of the second vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

As a result, the Kingsville man has been charged under the Criminal Code with:

Operation while impaired - alcohol

Operation while impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice to speak to the charges on April 23.
