‘May the 4th be with you’: WindsorEats Food Hall to host ‘Star Wars’ celebration on Monday

A Star Wars celebration will be hosted on Monday, but luckily Windsorites won’t have to travel to a galaxy far, far away.

According to a news release, WindsorEats Food Hall will host a free admission Star Wars themed event on Monday in honour of May 4, and from families to your four-legged companions, everyone is invited.

“On May the 4th, fans of every generation can gather to celebrate the epic saga that has united movie lovers for decades,” the release reads. “Whether your loyalty lies with the originals, the prequels, or the sequels, this all-ages event promises an unforgettable day of Star Wars fun.”

Organizers say dressing up – whether it’s as your favourite Star Wars character or a character you’ve created all your own – is highly encouraged.

Admission is free, and the event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Throughout the event, visitors can enjoy:

• Star Wars-themed colouring pages for kids
• A welcoming atmosphere for families and pets
• Exclusive Star Wars-inspired food and drink specials available for purchase

“This is more than an event — it’s a chance for the community to come together, celebrate one of the world’s most beloved franchises, and enjoy a one-of-a-kind experience right here in Windsor,” said organizer Ryan Richardson.
