The average sales price of homes and number of properties sold decreased in the region last month, according to the Windsor-Essex County Association of Realtors.
WECAR says the average sale price dropped to $559,363 in February, compared to $581,402 in February 2024, which is a 3.79 per cent decrease.
There was a decrease in the number of homes sold in the area. WECAR reports 577 homes were sold in February, down 10.12 per cent compared to the 642 homes sold during the same month last year.
Market activity increased 9.48 per cent, with 739 new listings last month, compared to 675 in February 2024.
There was a total of 1,359 available listings at the time of the report.
