"A little snow started off the day for many parts of the Island, even here in Greater Victoria. With the colder air still lingering this morning I don’t think anyone was shocked to see a fresh, clean and thin layer of white moisture.
Moving on into February we’ll continue to warm up back to seasonal temperatures. By Thursday and Friday we’ll be right back to where we typically are at this time of year. We also get back to a more seasonal weather pattern and that brings rain. While there’s a little bit here and there over the next 48 hours, it really changes into Friday and Saturday. A bigger system with plenty of rain will sit on top of the Island and drop anywhere from 20 to just over 100 mm, depending on where you’re located. At this point February seems to be a steady month od seasonal temperatures and moisture delivery."
