Clearing is underway this morning and temperatures are on the rise. The high pressure ridge offshore is drifting our way which means skies are going to be clear and temperatures will be reminiscent of summer for the next couple of days.

With temperatures set to reach the 20’s again, you might be wondering if this is out of the ordinary.

Turns out, it’s not. Temperatures in Victoria in the month of September regularly soar into the 20’s, occasionally hitting the 30-degree mark.

Seasonal normal is around 17°C in Victoria, so our temperatures over the next couple of days will definitely be above average, but not at a record level. The records for Wednesday and Thursday are 28.3°C and 30.1°C respectively.
