2 injured in Crescent Beach hit-and-run: Surrey police

Police were called to the scene fo a hit-and-run in Surrey's Crescent beach neighbourhood on Sunday, April 13.

Police are appealing for witnesses to a hit-and-run in Surrey’s Crescent Beach neighbourhood Sunday night.

Officers were called to the 2800 block of McKenzie Avenue around 8:15 p.m. for reports several pedestrians had been struck, according to the Surrey Police Service.

“The driver that struck the pedestrians did not remain at the scene,” a statement from the department said.

“Two people, a teenaged boy and an adult man, had sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Both were transported to hospital for evaluation and treatment.”

Police did not provide a description of the vehicle but are asking witnesses or anyone else with information to call 604-599-0502 and quote file 2025-20007.
