Election 2021: Latest results for all Vancouver Island ridings
As the votes are being counted across Canada, CTV News is tracking all seven Vancouver Island ridings.
CTV News has projected winners in most island ridings as of 9 p.m. Monday.
The latest results for each riding, in alphabetical order, can be found below:
- Courtenay-Alberni: NDP's Gord Johns projected winner in Courtenay-Alberni
- Cowichan-Malahat-Langford: NDP candidate Alistair MacGregor projected winner in Cowichan-Malahat-Langford
- Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke: NDP's Randall Garrison projected to win Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke riding
- Nanaimo-Ladysmith: Nanaimo-Ladysmith too close to call between Conservatives, NDP, Greens
- North Island-Powell River: NDP's Rachel Blaney projected winner in North Island-Powell River
- Saanich-Gulf Islands: Green party's Elizabeth May projected winner in Saanich-Gulf Islands
- Victoria: NDP's Laurel Collins projected winner in Victoria riding
Liberals projected to win minority
CTV News' Decision Desk has declared the Liberals will win the 2021 federal election, with a minority government.
The call comes after polls closed across the country, in this historic 36-day pandemic federal election.
