Marianne Drouin

Marianne Drouin joined the CTVNews.ca team as a Digital Content Editor in July 2017. She has a deep knowledge of Quebec news that stems from leading the production of regional and provincial news reports.
Marianne started her broadcasting career as a DJ in radio stations in Quebec City and the region of Beauce. Throughout the years, she has participated in many talk shows, covering news, sports and entertainment.
She took a brief pause from media to work in provincial politics before returning to radio as a research journalist and host. She eventually worked on the production of televised news bulletins for V (now Bell Media’s Noovo).
Marianne has a specific interest in Quebec politics, and was part of CTV Montreal's results team covering the last two provincial elections. She was also part of the live-blog team for the 2021 federal election debates, and participated in CTVNews.ca's election night coverage.
As a Digital Content Editor, she creates video content for CTVNews.ca, and newscasts for the Montreal metro stations. She also writes articles for CTVNews.ca.
Marianne was trained in radio and television broadcasting at Collège Radio Télévision de Québec. She is a member of the Quebec Federation of Professional Journalists (FPJQ) and the Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA).
She is fluent in French and English.
