Hayatullah Amanat

Hayatullah Amanat is a web journalist for CTV News Saskatoon. Previously, he worked as a digital writer for CTVNews.ca, bringing nearly a decade of experience in digital news. Before joining CTV, Hayatullah worked for TOLOnews in Afghanistan and contributed to Maiwand Radio and Television in Kabul. In recent years, he covered COVID-19, as well as the security situation and political upheaval in Afghanistan. He speaks English, Farsi/Dari, and conversational Pashto. Outside of work, he enjoys reading books and playing soccer.
