A search in Campbell River was suspended Sunday evening after two people, a father and daughter, went missing while quadding.
People in the area tell CTV News search teams have been scouring the water near Shelter Point and Stories Beach since Sunday afternoon.
One person was reportedly rescued.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre says it was part of the search and the RCMP has taken over the case.
RCMP did not confirm any details.
Search crews say they will resume the search at 8 a.m. on Monday.
