P.A. police renew calls for assistance locating man missing for 11 years

Timothy Charlette historical missing persons case

Prince Albert police are asking the public for information on a man who’s been missing for 11 years.

Timothy Charlette was last seen at dusk Oct. 8, 2014 on the train bridge overlooking the North Saskatchewan River. He was wearing a camouflage ball cap, jeans and a dark jacket.

Charlette, who would be 38 years old now, stood about 6′4 and weighed about 190 pounds when he was last seen.

Over the years his family has asked for help solving his disappearance. In 2016 they held an awareness walk into missing and murdered Indigenous men.

“It’s the not knowing part that is really, really hard,” said his sister, Colleen Whitedeer, at the time of the walk.

“Every time on the news, they always say women and girls are missing,” added his mother, Elizabeth Charlette added at the walk.

“They don’t mention the men. There is lots of Indigenous men and boys missing too.”

Anyone with information into Charlette’s disappearance or whereabouts is asked to contact Prince Albert police. Anonymous tips can also be provided to Crime Stoppers.
