City of Saskatoon golf courses closing sooner than expected

The three City of Saskatoon golf courses will close sooner than expected, due to winter weather.

The City of Saskatoon’s three golf courses - Holiday Park, Silverwood and Wildwood - will close earlier than planned, due to a recent change in weather.

The final day of operations for the three courses has been moved from Sunday, Oct. 26 to Sunday, Oct. 19.

The city says the change in weather has accelerated the original plan, to ensure fall maintenance is complete prior to temperatures dropping and snow and moisture arriving.

Holiday Park’s Championship Course and driving range will remain open until Oct. 19. The Executive 9 closed Oct. 13.

Silverwood’s Front 9 and driving range will remain open until Oct. 19. The Back 9 closed Oct. 13.

The full Wildwood course will be open until Oct. 19.

Holiday Park’s pro shop will remain open through the winter season, selling Club 6 packs, gift cards and season passes. Regular business hours, Monday through Friday, are in effect.
