Yellow Grass, Sask. was listed as Canada’s hot spot on Friday afternoon at 23.2 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Recent warm weather in Regina also brought an expected high of 20 C in Regina on Friday.
The normal daytime high in the Queen City on April 11 is about 12 C. Above seasonal temperatures are expected to continue for Regina through Saturday before single digit highs move in for the start of next week.
Parts of southern Saskatchewan could also see snow as well as rainfall totals between 10 and 20 millimetres over the weekend.
Yellow Grass, Sask. is about 88 kilometres southeast of Regina.
