Weyburn and Fillmore RCMP have cancelled their calls for public assistance in the search for a missing 83-year-old man – as a body has now been found.
Police announced just after 3 p.m. Tuesday that Leslie “Bill” Bell had been found dead.
Authorities initially asked for the public’s help in locating the Fillmore, Sask. resident Tuesday morning.
Based on a preliminary investigation, Bell’s death is not believed to be suspicious in nature, RCMP said.
His family has been notified.
