Regina man charged in drug trafficking investigation

A 31-year-old man has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking following a search of a Regina residence earlier this month.

On Feb. 11, 2026, the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Moose Jaw Crime Reduction Team (CRT) executed a search warrant at a home on James Hill Road as part of an ongoing investigation. Regina Police Service (RPS) SWAT assisted during the operation.

Officers seized more than 400 pharmaceutical-style tablets, approximately 30 grams of unknown powders for further testing, ammunition, and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Four people were arrested at the residence.

As a result of the investigation, the man faces multiple charges, including possession for the purpose of trafficking hydromorphone, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, two counts of possession of a weapon contrary to an order, and failure to comply with a probation order.

He is scheduled to appear in Regina Provincial Court on April 8.

One other man arrested was wanted on existing RPS warrants, while the remaining two individuals were released without charges.

The investigation is ongoing, with support from RPS, the Moose Jaw Police Service, the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Yorkton Trafficking Response Team, Regina Human Trafficking and Counter Exploitation Unit, and the White Butte Detachment.
