Missing Estevan man found dead: police

The Estevan Police Service says it’s investigating after a missing man was recently found dead.

The investigation, with the assistance of the Saskatchewan Coroner’s Service, began after the body of 28-year-old Jesi Cloutier was found in the Pleasantdale area of the city in the valley north of King Street.

According to police, Cloutier was the focus of a missing person investigation which began on June 22.

The investigation is considered ongoing and an autopsy has been ordered.

Cloutier’s family has been notified.

“Further details will be released when and if appropriate,” the service noted in its update.
