Kingston, Ont. police seek woman accused of using counterfeit money to buy gift cards

Kingston police are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman wanted in connection with a fraud investigation in the city.

According to police, a suspect has been buying gift cards with counterfeit $100 bills. Incidents have taken place at several large retail stores, including Canadian Tire, Walmart, Giant Tiger, and Shoppers Drug Mart.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged woman with long, dark curly hair. She is believed to be driving a newer model red Hyundai four-door sedan with dark tinted windows.
