Police investigating after shots fired in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood

There are no reports of injuries after a shooting in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood.

The Ottawa Police Service says officers responded to a call at approximately 9:20 p.m. Monday for a shot heard in the area of Beausoleil Drive and Old St. Patrick Street.

Police say officers found evidence of a shooting at the scene.

“No victim(s) have been located.”

The Guns and Gangs Unit is now investigating the shooting. Anyone with information can contact 613-236-1222, ext. 5050.
