A 26-year-old man is facing charges after police responded to calls for a man running naked, disturbing the peace and attempting to enter vehicles in Brockville, Ont. last weekend.
The Brockville Police Service says 9-1-1 received multiple calls at 7 a.m. Saturday, reporting a man yelling and shouting while running in the area of Cedar Street.
“It was later determined he had continued running to James Street West, and was in fact nude while attempting to enter peoples’ vehicles,” police said.
The man attempted to flee when officers located him, but he was taken into custody.
“During the arrest, the subject punched an officer in the face,” police said.
The suspect is facing charges of indecent act, assaulting a peace officer and causing a disturbance.
No one was seriously injured in the incident, according to police.
