Warm temperatures expected for the final days of winter in Ottawa

Ottawa will enjoy a stretch of above-seasonal temperatures heading into the first day of Spring on Thursday.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for highs of 8 C on Tuesday, 12 C on Wednesday and 15 C on Thursday, the first official day of Spring.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 4 C and a low of -6 C.

It will be mainly sunny today. Temperature warming up to 8 C.

A few clouds expected tonight. Low -1 C.

Wednesday will see sunshine. High 12 C.

Thursday will be mainly cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 15 C.

The outlook for Friday calls for a mix of sun and cloud with a 40 per cent chance of flurries. High 5 C.

Saturday will see a mix of sun and cloud. High 7 C.
