Two charged in Bancroft, Ont. drug bust

Ontario Provincial Police say two people are facing charges following a drug bust in Bancroft, Ont.

Officers searched a home on Bridge Street West on Tuesday. Four people were arrested and two children were taken to a safe location.

Police seized quantities of drugs believed to be cocaine, methamphetamines, psilocybin, and hydromorphone. A crossbow and $2,000 in cash were also seized.

Two individuals, a 41-year-old man and a 37-year-old woman, are facing drug possession and trafficking charges. They are due to appear in court in Belleville.

The other two people who were arrested have since been released unconditionally.
